The 4-pipe version of MCU-YHF heat pumps from Mycond is made to ensure simultaneous production of cold and heat. The heat pump has 2 separate, independent heat/cold heat exchangers that can operate simultaneously, and its internal control algorithm allows you to independently analyze and automatically balance the output power of these circuits. The 4-pipe version reaches the maximum energy efficiency indicators and will provide full autonomy of the heat/cold supply of any system

Operation limits

The unit uses fans from world-famous manufacturers, that further reduce the operating noise level and enable intelligent adjustment of air flow rate so as to maintain stable cooling and heating in a wide temperature range between -15 °C and +48 °C.

Full-recovery power saving

If both cooling and heating are required, you don’t have to set configurations separately for cooling and heating. The waste heat produced during cooling can be recovered and used in production of hot water, which then will be used on the system’s demand. The total efficiency ratio (TER) can be up to 7.78, which means reduction of upfront investments and subsequent operating costs.

Automatic cooling and heating balancing

Thanks to its modular design along with self-adaptive cooling and heating balancing technologies, the unit is able to automatically adjust the output cooling and heating capacity based on the actual conditions, quickly switch between the operating modes, and adjust the outlet water temperature so as to ensure continuous balancing that allows providing capacity on demand. In this way, temperature and humidity are controlled more precisely for even more comfort.

Modular Design

The unique feature of the series is its modular design with the ability to combine up to 16 modules (165YH, plus up to 8 modules) in a single system.

This feature allows extending the capacity over 1 MW with the number of capacity stages being equal to the number of compressors, so that you can have up to 32 capacity stages with 16 chiller modules (in dual-compressor models). The entire system is controlled via a single remote controler connected to the master module, while the rest are slave
modules. This results in a N-module monoblock heat pump.
